Internal wall insulation adds a slim thermal layer to your solid walls, creating a cosier, quieter home and cutting heat loss by up to 30%. Offered as an Innovation Measure under ECO4, it’s free for qualifying homes once Ofgem approval is secured.Â

• Who qualifies: 
  – Solid-walled homes (masonry or brick) with EPC rating D–G. 
  – Households on means-tested benefits or council-tax band A–E (GBIS flex).Â

• What’s involved: 
  1. Moisture-risk survey to test wall suitability. 
  2. Installation of 50 mm+ rigid insulation boards, moving sockets/trim as needed. 
  3. PAS 2030-accredited finish and ECO4 funding paperwork submission.Â
